Sometimes in my line of work, I end up yelling at people. Not that yelling is technically in the job description. I’m not a foreman or middle-manager, where yelling is essentially your defining characteristic (that, and a deep-seated sorrow, although that’s something I do have, thank you very much.)
If I were in a job that requires me to be exploitative, like a congress-human (note the gender-neutralization – I’m very inclusive) or if I was the president, I think my yelling might be justified. The president has to spend all day of his or her day trying to wrangle in a slithering herd of psychopaths and liars, hoping to milk their venom into something semi-useful. If you’re a congress-human, you’re a snake who spends all day yelling about how everyone else is probably a snake. If the president yells, everyone pays attention because it probably means China has finally…

I can’t get enough of this track at the moment; Walking with Elephants by Ten Walls. I was cleaning out the spare room yesterday and I just had this one track on repeat for the whole 3-hour procedure. And I still wasn’t sick of it even after that. I know absolutely nothing about Ten Walls. There seems to be very little info on the net either so I have no idea to whom or what I’m listening to. But I like it anyway.

So I just got back from the Katy Perry concert in Sheffield.. Wow that woman has some energy!
Entering out of a pyramid to start off the show, there was none stop singing and dancing, floating emojis (yes including the poo 💩) flying through the crowd, laying on the stage taking selfies with fans, singing Birthday sat on a very lucky guys knee, crying (on my part when she sang By the grace of God – emotional I know!!) cats running about on stage.. Everything you would imagine from a Katy Perry show!
And wow what a show she put on for us tonight!
First time I’ve seen Katy live and I loved every minute, I had so much fun – which is what you want when you pay that much for a ticket isn’t it! She wowed me with her acoustic versions of By the grace of God and…

My favorite soul musicians….I may be a bit out of touch with today’s music, simply because I can’t get enough of these classic sounds. I may be 31, however these songs are songs that I stay in tuned with. There was definitely something special about that soulful music era. Great ready to listen to some groovy tunes, combined with some groovy visuals :-)
